Avon Gorge Hotel, Clifton, Bristol

With views over the spectacular Avon Gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Avon Gorge Hotel serves as the perfect location to stay when visiting the beautiful city of Bristol. The hotel enlisted Indigo’s services to transform their terrace into a luxury outdoor drinking and dining area for guests.
Indigo custom-built a walkway leading from the Avon Gorge Hotel to a newly-built giant parasol area. Four giant parasols (three measuring 6 x 6m and one measuring at 5 x 4m) were installed to create a sumptuous location for those wishing to dine al fresco and enjoy the fresh air.

Like the walkway, the giant parasols were coloured a pale yellow, complementing the hotel exterior and teak furniture perfectly. Each installation was fitted with a heater, ensuring guests have the best possible experience on colder days.

The terrace became so popular that the hotel ordered four more parasols, awnings and screening to create a stylish outdoor space ideal for weddings and private functions, where guests are completely covered from the elements.
